The iPhone version 2.0 of GolfWindCalculatorLTE and GolfWindCalculatorPro are now available on iTunes. There is a "Weather Sites" tab that will display nearby weather stations with the distance away, last update time, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and gusts. Select one of the sites from the list and then select the "Weather" tab to see even more information with a compass that will show where the wind is from (according to the weather station). The dial and wind arrow will rotate so that you can point the phone in the direction of your shot and the arrow will still point in the direction of the wind.
The weather information comes from OpenWeatherMap.org and the app will ask for updated information only if 10 minutes have passed since the last update (OpenWeatherMap.org policy). Multiple weather sites are displayed so that sites with questionable information can be skipped.
